Privacy Policy
How Inner Product collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains account, event, payment, profile, and safety information.
Last updated: July 23, 2026
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Inner Product handles information collected through innerproduct.com, Inner Product accounts, profile questions, event pages, video rooms, payment flows, feedback, reports, support, and related services.
Information we collect
- Account information, such as email address, login records, and account identifiers.
- Profile and preference answers, such as age range, gender, dating style, approximate location, religion, ethnicity, languages, income range, family preferences, and match preferences.
- Event information, such as RSVP, check-in, alias, attendance, match assignment, video room metadata, post-round feedback, contact-sharing choices, and reports.
- Payment information, such as Stripe checkout, customer, payment, refund, and transaction metadata. Inner Product does not store full payment card numbers.
- Support, safety, legal, and privacy request communications.
- Device, technical log, first-party cookie and browser-storage, IP address, user agent, and security metadata.
Cookies and browser storage
Inner Product currently uses only first-party cookies and browser storage needed to provide requested features. These technologies keep you signed in, refresh and secure sessions, preserve short-lived signup and Google sign-in handoffs, carry questionnaire and age-verification progress within a browser tab, remember a city filter you select, and support in-session event-room and interface continuity.
Inner Product does not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral tracking, social-media tracking pixels, heatmaps, or third-party browser analytics. Inner Product does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Inner Product counts completion of a small set of signup and event-registration steps to understand where the product needs improvement. These first-party counters are stored only as totals by UTC day, deployment environment, tenant, and step. Counter rows do not contain a visitor or account identifier, IP address, user agent, referrer, page URL, event ID, profile answer, or dating preference, and the counters do not set or read a cookie or browser-storage identifier.
Signing out removes the authentication cookies. Choosing All locations removes the saved event-market preference. You may also clear cookies and site data in your browser, but doing so may sign you out, reset preferences, or interrupt an in-progress signup or event flow.
How we use information
- Create and secure accounts.
- Build dating profiles and recommend event matches.
- Run RSVPs, check-in, timed video rounds, feedback, and mutual contact reveal.
- Process payments, refunds, credits, chargebacks, and fraud prevention.
- Respond to safety reports, user support, privacy requests, and legal requests.
- Prevent abuse, trafficking, exploitation, scams, harassment, spam, and security incidents.
- Improve Inner Product's reliability, matching, event operations, and user experience.
- Use coarse area information inferred from an IP address to select a nearby event-location filter. This does not request precise device location permission, and the filter returns only a supported metro area rather than exposing raw location details to the page.
Sharing
Inner Product shares information with service providers that help operate the service, such as hosting, database, email, SMS, security, payment processing, and support providers. Inner Product may disclose information when required by law, to protect safety, to prevent fraud or abuse, to enforce policies, or as part of a corporate transaction. Inner Product reveals contact information to another attendee only when the product flow and your explicit contact-sharing choice allow it.
Browser privacy signals
Inner Product does not currently track visitors over time across third-party websites and does not permit third-party advertising, analytics, heatmap, or social-pixel services to collect activity through the site for cross-site tracking. Inner Product suppresses its aggregate product-funnel counter when a request includes an enabled Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. These signals do not otherwise change first-party processing needed to provide, secure, or troubleshoot the service. If these practices change, Inner Product will update this notice and honor legally required browser opt-out signals.
Sensitive data
Dating profile answers and reports can be sensitive. Inner Product uses them for matching, event operations, safety, fraud prevention, support, legal compliance, and service improvement. Do not provide exact home addresses, Social Security numbers, government IDs, payment card numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information unless Inner Product specifically asks through an approved flow.
Retention and deletion
Inner Product keeps information as long as reasonably needed for account operation, event history, matching, safety, fraud prevention, payment records, legal compliance, disputes, and backups. Users may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing support@innerproduct.com with a subject that starts with PRIVACY. Some records may be retained where needed for safety, fraud, payment, tax, legal, or dispute reasons.
Age restriction
Inner Product is for users 18 and older. Inner Product does not knowingly collect information from minors.
